Chris Brannick has been at the forefront of contemporary percussion for over 30 years, and in those three decades he’s travelled extensively and worked with many of the leading figures in music.

Join Chris and his friend and colleague Jackie Mann for a musical tour around the world. From Ghanaian gyil to Egyptian riq, from flowerpots to vibraphone and marimba, from radical minimalism to tap-dancing bongo playing, this concert will be a charming smörgåsbord of international colours and flavours, all washed down with a smattering of anecdotes and tales recounting his journey from mathematician and potential accountant to the BBC Proms and award-winning screenwriter.  Don’t expect the ordinary.
